About Me
Hi all! I'm Michelle and I'm a first-year Cognitive Science major with an emphasis in Artificial Intelligence. I'm from Mooresville, North Carolina, which is about 30 minutes north of Charlotte. I enjoy going to the gym, playing video games, and art (especially painting!). In my free time, I make replica props and costumes based on movies, T.V. shows, and comics! It involves everything from sewing to working with power tools, and I'm totally in love with it! In the future, I'd really like to volunteer as a set or costume designer at a local theater.
I decided to take this course because I'm a pretty big musical theater nerd- my birthday present was a trip to Broadway to see Hamilton! In addition, I'm very interested to learn more about productions that explore the idea of diversity. It's generally somewhat rare to see productions that have a diverse cast or a subject matter dealing with other cultures, so I'm really excited to discover more productions that involve these subjects!
